Jan 03, 2025 The place is very clean and a great location. We loved the ocean views and both pools. My favorite part was sitting on the Lanai for the sunrise in the mornings. So quiet and peaceful. Nothing but the sound of the ocean. Easy to hop on Ali’i Drive and get to a store or restaurant. We have three kids and they slept comfortably on the twin beds and pullout couch. Our bedroom was nice and private. The kitchen is well stocked with basic amenities. Didn’t even need to buy coffee as it was provided. Jolene Dempsey

Oct 29, 2024 When we arrived a little lady assisted us with finding the condo. Everyone there was so helpful, kind and sweet. My kids and I felt safe, the place was clean, on our 3rd night we found a gecko in the master bedroom but my son took it out safely. The only issue I had was maintenance was next door right at 9am drilling and banging on the walls which was annoying for a couple hours. Other than that we had a great experience! I recommend this condo to small families. Mirna Ward

Aug 21, 2024 We had a great stay at this property. Condo is located in a quiet, gated complex very close to the town of Kailua-Kona. Complex is very well kept and has a nice pool and grills to use. The views from this property of the ocean and landscape are stunning. The condo contains suitable amenities and we enjoyed using the beach chairs that were provided. Definitely hope to book this same property next time we visit! Bruno Turati

Feb 17, 2024 Our stay here was lovely! The location is great - right on the water, so the view from the lanai was amazing. It is close to the main town so very convenient to go to shops, restaurants, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need. It can be a bit hard to find if arriving after dark, but the instructions were very good so we did not have trouble. It was also hard to find parking near the actual unit; but this wasn't a problem as we could drive up close to load/unload luggage. Most of the residents at the complex were older which was fine - it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool and beach on site were OK but we really just used the condo as a "home base" to go explore other parts of the island and it was absolutely perfect for that. Highly recommend using the concierge service to book activities - I have never stayed at an airbnb that offered this and they were amazing to work with and really made our trip spectacular! We cooked steak out on the community patio and ate with the evening breeze washing over us, a view of the sunset and the ocean waves, and palm trees waving over us. Aug 29, 2023 My husband and I stayed here 6 days. It is a nice Property and Condo. The bedrooms are small if you have lots of luggage. We were fine since we could use the other bedroom to sore it all. The living and dining area is big and comfortable. The huge covered patio common area between the two pools does not affect the view from your balcony. We would return, but only with two of us. Four adults in there would be cramped. Oh, the shower in the master is really nice with extra spouts!! Dotty and Don Clark

May 30, 2023 My family I had a great time with Gather Vacations. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the lanai early and after a day of activities. The saltwater pool was so neat, and we often found ourselves sitting on the man-made beach reading or watching the sunset. Thanks for the wonderful memories in your beautiful unit. Sep 23, 2022 Quaint and Quirky Beautiful property and good location. Not much around for eating but closer to the Volcano Park than Hilo. Layout is quirky. Place could use a good dusting but overall clean where it needed to be. Place is older and shows wear, but everything was functional, and the appliances and AC looked new. Daughter loved hanging out on the porch with her friends" the geckos, wish the hot tub was still functional. Scott D

Updates regarding the reopening will be provided as the project progresses. Ahead of the renovation project, temporary mitigation measures have been undertaken at the ocean pool to reduce sand being pulled into the water during high surf. This includes sand at the pool’s entrance pushed behind a barricade of sandbags and rubber mats placed in the void. The objective is to reduce pool closures while the garden pool is under construction. The Board of Directors intends to undertake a permanent solution to this issue following the reopening of the garden pool. Please bear with the aesthetics of the temporary solution. The ocean pool is open at 8 a.m. daily for your enjoyment.
