  • Aug 01, 2026 This place was very clean and the view from the balcony was lovely! We loved spending time at the pool right at the ocean. Although we still considered this a 5 ⭐️ Airbnb, here are a few things that maybe could be improved or were less than ideal: -the King bed has some divets that weren’t super comfy. -the thermostat wasn’t working and so we had to have maintenance people in our place twice to fix it. (But they DID fix it, and it worked great). -the oven wasn’t working, but we were able to fix it by flipping the breaker. Overall it was great, but does not have the flexibility, adaptability, and hospitality you get from an Airbnb owned by an individual vs this one that is part of another company. Hannah S

Exactly as described and shown in the pictures including 3rd floor balcony views, which provided privacy that lower levels cannot. Calm, quiet, private, safe and low key complex with 2 pools to choose from. Beyond the listed amenities, stand outs of our stay included the prompt support and responsiveness of the host, their flexibility in allowing us to add an additional night mid-stay, and watching the dolphins swim by on multiple days during family breakfast on the private balcony. If you’re looking for a slow, relaxed place to enjoy Kona, this is it. The complex felt extremely safe. We loved the private beach and we even got to see whales passing by! The space was spotless, well-appointed, and exactly as described, with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit to the Big Island. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was ideal — close to downtown Kailua-Kona but still quiet enough to unwind at the end of the day. Morning coffee on the lanai with an ocean breeze and sunsets in the evening were definite highlights of the trip. The pool and BBQ area were clean and never too crowded, which made the property feel like a small, relaxed resort. The host was wonderful: very responsive, friendly, and proactive with clear check-in instructions. Check-in and check-out were seamless, parking was easy, and the building felt safe and well maintained. Would absolutely stay here again. Jason L

I was initially worried about getting groceries nearby without having to drive, but that turned out to be a non-issue. There’s a deli market just a 2-minute walk from the condo with milk, eggs, cereal, Bisquick pancake mix, maple syrup —everything our kids love for breakfast. There’s also a great coffee shop called Berry Bird about a 5-minute walk southeast toward Ali’s Drive, offering an excellent selection of coffee drinks. Just two more minutes past that is a small farmers market next to Living Stone Church, with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, freshly baked bread, cinnamon rolls (they sell out fast!), and cookies. Lastly, the condo is actually much closer to the ocean than it appears in the pictures, which was a wonderful surprise. Kate F

  • Aug 23, 2025 We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The condo is excellent, great location, amazing views, and plenty of space for our family of four. I could honestly sit on the balcony all day just enjoying the view. The host was easy and quick to communicate with, which made everything smooth. We even tried to extend our stay for three more nights, but unfortunately it was already reserved. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area. Walid S

My husband found all the cool kitchen gadgets this place has, he kept saying someone has to live there to have all those supplies. I am not a fan of Airbnb’s that use a third party property manager, it takes longer to get a response and usually they aren’t as helpful. This place was okay in that regard. Ashley D

The complex this unit is located in is beautiful and has two pools, a huge outdoor eating space, plenty of room to lounge by the pool or ocean, and 3 large grills available to use. Unit 336 was everything I was looking for in a trip to Hawaii. We had stunning views of the ocean from the living room and balcony, comfortable and clean bedrooms, and living area, a kitchen for making breakfast and dinner if you wanted, washing machine and dryer, and air conditioning. A lot of places in Kona didn't have A/C and I almost booked a place without it. If you're visiting in July or August, you definitely want a unit with A/C!.The host was responsive to all of our questions and there were tons of beach items available to use as well: beach chairs, pool noodles, cooler, snorkel gear, beach mats. We loved our time here and would love to stay again in the future. Donald B

We spent hours just listening to the waves and watching whales and spinner dolphins. The condo was spacious and well equipped. We used the BBQs a few times, they were always clean. We loved the 'beach". It was hard to leave after 10 wonderful days. The only negative was the king bed. it was hard as a rock. I highly recommend this beautiful place with the incredible views. So quiet and peaceful. Nothing but the sound of the ocean. Easy to hop on Ali’i Drive and get to a store or restaurant. We have three kids and they slept comfortably on the twin beds and pullout couch. Our bedroom was nice and private. The kitchen is well stocked with basic amenities.   • Oct 29, 2024 When we arrived a little lady assisted us with finding the condo. Everyone there was so helpful, kind and sweet. My kids and I felt safe, the place was clean, on our 3rd night we found a gecko in the master bedroom but my son took it out safely. The only issue I had was maintenance was next door right at 9am drilling and banging on the walls which was annoying for a couple hours. Other than that we had a great experience! Complex is very well kept and has a nice pool and grills to use. The views from this property of the ocean and landscape are stunning. The condo contains suitable amenities and we enjoyed using the beach chairs that were provided. Definitely hope to book this same property next time we visit! Bruno T

It is close to the main town so very convenient to go to shops, restaurants, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need. It can be a bit hard to find if arriving after dark, but the instructions were very good so we did not have trouble. It was also hard to find parking near the actual unit; but this wasn't a problem as we could drive up close to load/unload luggage. Most of the residents at the complex were older which was fine - it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool and beach on site were OK but we really just used the condo as a "home base" to go explore other parts of the island and it was absolutely perfect for that. Highly recommend using the concierge service to book activities - I have never stayed at an airbnb that offered this and they were amazing to work with and really made our trip spectacular! We were fine since we could use the other bedroom to sore it all. The living and dining area is big and comfortable. The huge covered patio common area between the two pools does not affect the view from your balcony. We would return, but only with two of us. Four adults in there would be cramped. Oh, the shower in the master is really nice with extra spouts!! Dotty A

The complex this unit is located in is beautiful and has two pools, a huge outdoor eating space, plenty of room to lounge by the pool or ocean, and 3 large grills available to use. Unit 336 was everything I was looking for in a trip to Hawaii. We had stunning views of the ocean from the living room and balcony, comfortable and clean bedrooms, and living area, a kitchen for making breakfast and dinner if you wanted, washing machine and dryer, and air conditioning. A lot of places in Kona didn't have A/C and I almost booked a place without it. If you're visiting in July or August, you definitely want a unit with A/C!.The host was responsive to all of our questions and there were tons of beach items available to use as well: beach chairs, pool noodles, cooler, snorkel gear, beach mats. We loved our time here and would love to stay again in the future. Donald B

Feb 01, 2025 One of our best rental stays ever. The condo was beautiful and the views from the unit and lanai were incredible! We spent hours just listening to the waves and watching whales and spinner dolphins. The condo was spacious and well equipped. We used the BBQs a few times, they were always clean. We loved the 'beach". It was hard to leave after 10 wonderful days. The only negative was the king bed. it was hard as a rock. I highly recommend this beautiful place with the incredible views. Jan 03, 2025 The place is very clean and a great location. We loved the ocean views and both pools. My favorite part was sitting on the Lanai for the sunrise in the mornings. So quiet and peaceful. Nothing but the sound of the ocean. Easy to hop on Ali’i Drive and get to a store or restaurant. We have three kids and they slept comfortably on the twin beds and pullout couch. Our bedroom was nice and private. The kitchen is well stocked with basic amenities. Didn’t even need to buy coffee as it was provided. Jolene D

Oct 29, 2024 When we arrived a little lady assisted us with finding the condo. Everyone there was so helpful, kind and sweet. My kids and I felt safe, the place was clean, on our 3rd night we found a gecko in the master bedroom but my son took it out safely. The only issue I had was maintenance was next door right at 9am drilling and banging on the walls which was annoying for a couple hours. Other than that we had a great experience! I recommend this condo to small families. Mirna W

Aug 21, 2024 We had a great stay at this property. Condo is located in a quiet, gated complex very close to the town of Kailua-Kona. Complex is very well kept and has a nice pool and grills to use. The views from this property of the ocean and landscape are stunning. The condo contains suitable amenities and we enjoyed using the beach chairs that were provided. Feb 17, 2024 Our stay here was lovely! The location is great - right on the water, so the view from the lanai was amazing. It is close to the main town so very convenient to go to shops, restaurants, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need. It can be a bit hard to find if arriving after dark, but the instructions were very good so we did not have trouble. It was also hard to find parking near the actual unit; but this wasn't a problem as we could drive up close to load/unload luggage. Most of the residents at the complex were older which was fine - it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool and beach on site were OK but we really just used the condo as a "home base" to go explore other parts of the island and it was absolutely perfect for that. Highly recommend using the concierge service to book activities - I have never stayed at an airbnb that offered this and they were amazing to work with and really made our trip spectacular! I would stay here again! Katy F

Aug 29, 2023 My husband and I stayed here 6 days. It is a nice Property and Condo. The bedrooms are small if you have lots of luggage. We were fine since we could use the other bedroom to sore it all. The living and dining area is big and comfortable. The huge covered patio common area between the two pools does not affect the view from your balcony. We would return, but only with two of us. Four adults in there would be cramped. Oh, the shower in the master is really nice with extra spouts!! Dotty A

May 30, 2023 My family I had a great time with Gather Vacations. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the lanai early and after a day of activities. The saltwater pool was so neat, and we often found ourselves sitting on the man-made beach reading or watching the sunset. Thanks for the wonderful memories in your beautiful unit.
