Feb 17, 2024 Our stay here was lovely! The location is great - right on the water, so the view from the lanai was amazing. It is close to the main town so very convenient to go to shops, restaurants, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need. It can be a bit hard to find if arriving after dark, but the instructions were very good so we did not have trouble. It was also hard to find parking near the actual unit; but this wasn't a problem as we could drive up close to load/unload luggage. Most of the residents at the complex were older which was fine - it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool and beach on site were OK but we really just used the condo as a "home base" to go explore other parts of the island and it was absolutely perfect for that. Highly recommend using the concierge service to book activities - I have never stayed at an airbnb that offered this and they were amazing to work with and really made our trip spectacular! Aug 29, 2023 My husband and I stayed here 6 days. It is a nice Property and Condo. The bedrooms are small if you have lots of luggage. We were fine since we could use the other bedroom to sore it all. The living and dining area is big and comfortable. The huge covered patio common area between the two pools does not affect the view from your balcony. We would return, but only with two of us. Four adults in there would be cramped. Oh, the shower in the master is really nice with extra spouts!! Dotty and Don Clark

Sep 23, 2022 Quaint and Quirky Beautiful property and good location. Not much around for eating but closer to the Volcano Park than Hilo. Layout is quirky. Place could use a good dusting but overall clean where it needed to be. Place is older and shows wear, but everything was functional, and the appliances and AC looked new. Daughter loved hanging out on the porch with her friends" the geckos, wish the hot tub was still functional. Scott D

Stocked with every essential needed to prepare a delicious meal, there's even a wine refrigerator, perfect for storing your favorite Cabernet. A bar-height counter allows additional seating for your guests.
Enjoy coastline views from the dining room, or relax in the tropically-appointed living room which features a plush recliner, satellite and cable TV, and a queen sleeper sofa. Step out onto the lanai where you'll find seating for four. The lanai makes the perfect space to drink your morning coffee, read a book or simply take in the garden and ocean views.
The primary bedroom is equipped with air conditioning and plush Cal King bed. The fully-remodeled ensuite bathroom features high-end finishes, as well as an oversized jetted shower, plush cotton towels and a luxurious soaking tub. You'll love the festive ocean-inspired decor of the guest bedroom which has two twin-sized beds and is situated only steps from the second bathroom.

There is plenty to see and do near Casa De Emdeko 336. Located within walking distance of Kailua-Kona village, you'll love exploring the area and its many significant Hawaiian cultural landmarks. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Ali'i Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of what is now the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel, until his passing in 1819. The Ahu'ena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by the late king and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.
People-watch—and cruise ship-watch—from the Kailua-Kona Pier, where you'll have access to Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, and dolphin and whale watching. Visit the famous farmers market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee.
