Nov 21, 2024 Amazing property, highly recommended This unit is absolutely perfect! Amazing views and plenty of space for our family of 6, 2 teenagers and 4 adults including the grandparents. The ground floor location was very convenient and the kitchen and BBQ well appointed for cooking in the unit. We loved the amenities of the property, including the pool and the restaurant, which are easy to access from the unit. Highly recommended, we will be back! Myra G

Aug 09, 2024 We had an absolutely magical family vacation in Hawaii, and our stay at Hali’i Kai was the icing on top. This listing is beautiful, and even more welcoming in person thanks to small details like top end appliances, full set of cookware, pantry staples, coffee on hand, comprehensive local guide, easy to use electronics and spa-like bathroom. Parking is convenient and labeled, the keyless door system was absolutely stellar, and those giant double doors that put all of Hawaii in your living room with you - perfection! Our host was proactive and responsive and such a comfort when you’re traveling so far from home! She answered all our questions quickly and courteously. I truly loved this vacation, we’re already planning our return. Jessica Willis

Dec 21, 2023 Wow, this place truly exceeded our expectations & the photos! The hosts were accommodating and responsive. Check-in/Check-Out was seamless - the views were spectacular. The pool and pool grill were awesome as well as the area with lots to do and see plus a market down the road. Rooms were spacious, kitchen was great for a bigger group with individual TV's in all rooms. An activity closet with chairs, boogie boards, and snorkels provided. Aug 23, 2023 This villa was clean, neat, and spacious. Lanai was perfect to watch the clouds and the ocean, plenty of supplies for washer, bathrooms and dishwasher. Fully stocked kitchen and closet full of beach chairs and toys. Our girls’ vacation-4 of us- were so comfortable and content! Thank you so much! Highly highly recommend! Cindy Miller

Beautifully decorated and well-appointed with elegant tropical style furnishings, upscale appliances and several amenities allow for an unforgettable experience.
Located 18 miles north of the Kona International Airport on the sun-drenched Kohala Coast, Hali'i Kai (meaning "spreading out to the sea") was recently named the No. 1 resort on the Big Island by Expedia. One of the newest and nicest gated communities in the world-famous Waikoloa Beach Resort, Hali'i Kai boasts one of the best kept secret, the only oceanfront pool, fitness center, lounge and cafe center of any complex on the Big Island. With so many amenities at Hali'i Kai, you may never need to leave the property, which stretches from the greens of the golf course to the lava rock shoreline of the ocean. At day's end, luxuriate in the 3 spaciously designed bedrooms of this ground level corner unit property which accommodates 6 and includes a king primary suite with views of the ocean, golf course and volcano's and a en-suite bathroom with dual sinks and separate tub and shower as well as a walk-in-closet. The Ocean Club, an oceanfront clubhouse with 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, features a large black bottom lagoon-style, multi-level swimming pool with a soothing waterfall and a heated lava rock spa with a sandy bottom.
